Most software, performance, and day-to-day PC issues โ slow computers, startup problems, Windows errors, virus and malware cleanup, new computer setup, data transfer, and general computer questions. I primarily work on Windows PCs, though depending on the issue I can often still help on a Mac.

On the computer side, I may be able to help clean things up depending on what happened. But the more urgent step is this: if there's any chance money, a bank account, a credit card, or account access was involved, contact your bank or credit card companies right away โ before anything else.
You can also report the incident to the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center at IC3.gov. For anything that feels urgent or unsafe, 911 or your local police is always an option.
